The lone interpretation of ‘Bajo de las Estrellas’ is provided by Hamed Safi aka Beat Syndrome who is returning to System Recordings for his third appearance. The Canadian producer released his ‘Two O Two’ EP on the storied US imprint just over a year ago and it was incredibly well received, so much so that the lead piece made it into Release Promo’s Top 50 tracks of 2014. Hamed’s sound has continued to evolve and his recent releases for Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Sound Avenue (in conjunction with Estroe) and Luis Junior’s Mooseekaa imprint have all been sensational. Beat Syndrome productions always seem to come with several unique characteristics and his ‘Bajo de las Estrellas’ remix is no different. Hamed has reshaped several of the best elements from the original into a sleeker more refined interpretation. it’s deep techno groove is quite powerful and the accompanying design which surrounds it is equally impressive. The reprocessed vocals are monumentally trippy; they dominate the records second act which ultimately sets up a heads down finale which really rocks. Brilliant stiff from Hamed and a spot on release from System Recordings. Don’t miss it.
