Gio Red’s ‘Sun In My Eyes / It Makes Me Wonder’ was released on Movement Recordings in late May of this year. It was regarded as the Greek producer’s finest work to date and earned support from a long list of great DJs. Movement is now proud to present 3 brand new interpretations from: TakisM, Beat Syndrome and Oz Romita.

Greek producer Stamatis Mouzakitis aka TakisM makes his debut on Movement and provides the lone remix of ‘Sun In My Eyes’. TakisM’s enchanting deep house grooves have already appeared on Reelaux Digital, Underground City Music and Dash Deep records. Here he gets the remix collection off to a great start with a deep, atmospheric interpretation of ‘Sun In My Eyes’. Funky bass stabs, ethereal vocal pads and cool electronics combine for a solid groove that’s aimed squarely at the dance floor. The shimmering atmospheric backdrop provides the perfect canvas for the deep and funky framework to work its magic throughout the piece. Great stuff from TakisM.

The first interpretation of ‘It Makes Me Wonder’ is provided by Canada’s Beat Syndrome who is returning to Movement for his eighth overall appearance. Following hot on the heels of ‘In Your Shadow’ released just last week Hamed Safi aka Beat Syndrome has provided one of his most hypnotic and trippy productions to date on ‘It Makes Me Wonder’. Layers of building rhythms and mesmerizing atmospheres drive the piece nicely to the main drop. As the break begins to take shape the gyrating grooves escalate while trippy vocal accents and swirling atmospheres take the tension even higher. The payoff is huge with the infectious groove and buzzing hypnotic lines pushing the piece forward to a great finish.
